c11cb4bd-4fb6-43fa-8248-5af25235a38b
Now add ketchup, mustard, sugar, bbq sauce. I do not measure these. I just add. You need just a little mustard and sugar not much at all. You need BBQ to taste only. Ketchup is what you need the most of and will probably add more after stirring all together.

Stir well incorporate all ingredients together.
You want it to be a little sloppy if it is not add more ketchup until you reach the “sloppy” style you like.

I usually have to add ketchup 2-3 times. Add a little at a time you can always add more but can not take away.
Once your joe’s are sloppy like you like them turn crock pot on low for about 3 hours.

Brown Sugar Apple Pork Chop – Crock Pot

I am not sure what I expected this recipe to taste like. Instead of the pork chops tasting like pork chops they tasted like ham. I would have preferred using a Pork Loin/Pork Roast but all I had was pork chops on hand.
It is a easy recipe for the crock pot.
e84e24bc-f4a4-4b1d-a2f1-30edccc279fc

It is free of dairy, egg, peanut, and tree nut. Be sure the food items you use are free of these allergens to ensure your recipe is safe for your loved one by reading all labels and calling the manufacture if needed for how it is produced.

Calorie count: 325 for 1 slice/1 pork chop (based on the food brands I used) Read your labels for accurate calorie counts. Follow package serving size for accurate counting of calories. I measure everything per plate/bowl based on serving sizes listed on all packages/containers to determine calories.

What you need:
5-10 Pork Chops thin cut
or
1 Pork Loin / Pork Roast

4-5 Apples (peeled and sliced)
Light Brown Sugar
Red Pepper Flakes

87212abb-9685-45ca-a843-7a4ae2d9d779

Start by lining your pork chops up on their sides all in a row against each other in the crock pot. If using a loin/roast cut 4-5 slits in the roast/loin, do not go all of the way through the roast/loin.
Next take 1 slice of bacon and two apple slices and stick between each pork chop or into each slit on the roast/loin.

Sprinkle Red Pepper Flakes and Pepper over everything in crock pot.

Beef Stew – Crock Pot

This is a perfect “meat and potatoes” kind of meal! Perfect for cold winter nights. Another throw it in the crock, set it, and forget it meal!

It is free of dairy, egg, peanut, and tree nut. Be sure the food items you use are free of these allergens to ensure your recipe is safe for your loved one by reading all labels and calling the manufacture if needed for how it is produced.

Calorie count: 645 (based on the food brands I used) Read your labels for accurate calorie counts. Follow package serving size for accurate counting of calories. I measure everything per plate/bowl based on serving sizes listed on all packages/containers to determine calories.

What you will need:
1 Package Beef Cubes
5-6 Potatoes
2 Cans Corn
2 Cans Green Beans
1 Can Butter Beans or Lima Beans
1 1/2 Can Beef Broth
1 Small 1/2 – 1/4 Sweet Onion or 1 tsp Onion Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Flour
Vegetable Oil
Salt and Pepper

How To:
Start by browning all sides of beef cubes.
Pour a bit of vegetable oil in skillet just to coat the bottom and turn on low-med.
Add about 1 cup of flour to plate sprinkle just a bit of salt and pepper over flour and mix well with a fork.
Flour all sides of beef cubes.
16c46ad1-1333-4ae9-bc66-deed51ab8c2c
Add floured beef cubes to hot skillet and brown all sides. Do not cook through just brown each side.
51ec7c3a-c37f-49b9-81a9-f7c4c1c1731c
Once all sides are brown place cubes on a paper towel to remove some of the oil.

While you are browning all sides of the beef cubes, start the following:
Open all vegetable cans and drain liquid.
Peel potatoes and dice into large chunks.
Dice onion if you are using one.
Add all of the above to Crock Pot.
Sprinkle in Garlic and Onion Salt if using these spices.
Sprinkle in Pepper and Salt to taste.
Pour 1 1/2 can of beef broth over all.
Turn Crock Pot on High.
45166a36-c5b5-4c00-b549-39559df092c6
After all beef cubes are browned and placed on paper towel add them to the crock pot.
I sprinkle about 1 TBL spoon of flour over everything in crock pot and stir to combine not allowing the flour to clump. Repeat this step one more time. Adding flour now will thicken the beef broth as it cooks. To make a “beef stew” thickness when done.
Serve in a bowl with a hot roll on the side! So good! ❤

This is wonderful for a “meat and potatoes” kind of meal. Perfect for those cold winter nights. Serve with hot baked rolls or biscuits for the perfect filling meal.

It is free of dairy, egg, peanut, and tree nut. Be sure the food items you use are free of these allergens to ensure your recipe is safe for your loved one by reading all labels and calling the manufacture if needed for how it is produced.

Calorie count: 870 (based on the food brands I used) Read your labels for accurate calorie counts. Follow package serving size for accurate counting of calories. I measure everything per plate/bowl based on serving sizes listed on all packages/containers to determine calories.

What you will need:
1 LB Ground Beef
1 Onion
5-6 Potatoes
1 Can Corn
2 full drinking cups of HOT water
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Salt
Chicken Bouillon

How to:
Brown ground beef on stove top.
c2a4f6d1-ef94-4d1c-9282-01594b0e3342
While ground beef is cooking place 3 chicken bouillon cups in a full cup of HOT water. I don’t measure my water. I just use 2 full drinking cup.
Once all ground beef is browned and cooked thoroughly remove all ground beef from skillet except for about 2 tablespoons. Leave grease in skillet.
Pour about 1/4 cup of flour into skillet. Again I don’t measure my flour just judge it by what it looks like. More flour the thicker your gravy will be. The less flour the more watery the gravy will be.
Turn your heat up to med-high.
Shake some salt and pepper over flour to taste. Take a fork and mix flour into grease quickly until all flour is a brown color and just starts to sizzle. Not to long or you will burn the flour.
a4096c5d-1a98-4ea2-b52e-c897b7c51921
Take your drinking glass of with bouillon into skillet with heat still at med-high.
d0d54990-0a85-4fe9-b7ff-4f57f718821f
Use your fork to continually mix/stir scrap the bottom of the pan to ensure nothing is sticking.
At same time make sure your bouillon cubes are dissolved if not use fork and crush them and break them up.
Pour second cup of water into skillet still stirring/mixing.
Turn heat up to almost high.
Let it boil for a few minutes.
61b49d2a-2b93-4ba4-b22b-6ecf886cd1c8
It will begin to thicken quickly with high heat. Stir always so it doesn’t burn on the bottom of the skillet.
Once gravy has reached your desired thickness remove from heat.

Peel and chunk cut your potatoes. Bigger chunks the better.
Quarter your onion.
Turn crock pot on high.
Add about 1/4 inch of gravy to the bottom of crock pot.
144f625f-ac34-47db-bc68-3c5ea235bf64
Then add browned ground beef, potatoes, corn, onions.
Shake in some garlic salt, salt, and pepper to taste.
Stir to incorporate all together.

Cook on high 5-6 hours or until potatoes are tender.
